The Mission of the Records and Technology Division is to provide accurate, timely, and appropriate public safety information to the Divisions within the Department, to the law enforcement community and to the citizens of Nevada using state-of-the-art technology.

In the Technology Bureau we may have job opportunities in positions such as IT Managers, IT Professionals, IT Technicians, an Administrative Assistant, an Accountant Technician and a Chief IT Manager. The wide variety of responsibilities include programming, Help Desk, Desktop, project management, server administration, network administration, database administration, support staff, accounts receivable and payable and management.

In the Records Bureau we may have job opportunities in positions such as Administrative Services Officers, Management Analysts, Program Officers, NCJIS Program Specialists, Fingerprint Technicians, an Accounting Technician, Administrative Assistants, Accounting Assistants, a Statistician and a Criminal Justice Records Manager. The wide variety of responsibilities include building and maintaining the budget, accounts receivable and payable, sex offender registration, auditing, training, program development, firearm background checks, record seals, classification of fingerprints, data entry, statistical reporting, customer service, support staff and management.
